Water and Sanitation:
Access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene is the most basic human need for health and well-being. Demand for water is rising owing to rapid population growth, urbanization and increasing water needs from agriculture, industry, and energy sectors. Water and sanitation are at the core of sustainable development and the range of services they provide, underpin poverty reduction, economic growth and environmental sustainability. The world needs now to transform the way it manages its water resources and the way it delivers water and sanitation services for billions of people.
In view of the above concerns ASHADEEP FOUNDATION has organized regular trainings at village level for women and girls on menstrual hygiene, have access to hygiene products and WASH facilities that support their dignity and well-being.
To strengthening institutional arrangements for ground water governance by facilitating strong data base, scientific approach, and community participation in ground water sector in to enable them sustainably manage their resources. The efforts also envisage improved source sustainability for Jal Jeevan Mission, positive contribution to the Government’s goal of ‘doubling farmers income’ and inculcating behavioral changes in the community to facilitate optimal water use.
Capacity building:
"Capacity development is understood as the process whereby people, organizations and society as a whole unleash, strengthen, create, adapt and maintain capacity over time”. Capacity-building is defined as the process of developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, processes, and resources that organizations and communities need to survive, adapt, and thrive in a fast- changing world. Capacity building activities can include leadership development and planning for future collaboration. At an individual level, examples of capacity building activities can consist of training and mentorships. Organizational capacity building activities tend to focus on a broader scale.
Organization has been enhanced capacities around 50000 people including male- female, young people in different sectors.
Skill development
India is the second largest population and similarly large is the unemployment rate in the country. There are several candidates for a single job position. Therefore, recruiters and employers look for candidates with the most varied skill sets.
Skills development means a class or course of instruction taken by the worker/ person for the purpose of enhancing an existing skill or developing a new skill.
Skill development is one of the most important aspects of a successful career. Each industry is constantly growing and evolving. Hence, it is very vital to keep up with the latest trends and technologies. If you continuously develop new and relevant skills, your value increases as well. ASHADEEP FOUNDATION has been developed skills of around 25000 people in Hard and soft skills.
Agriculture
Agriculture has a growing scope in India as India has been an agro-based economy. Agriculture is the prime source of generating food for living beings. The growing population has increased the demand for food and the increasing population is going on occupying more and more land and the land for cultivation of crops is going on decreasing.
The demand for food grains is going on increasing and the land for cultivation of crops is going on decreasing; such a situation deserves the emergence, and development of agriculture technology to maximize food productivity to cater to the growing demand of increasing population in India and abroad. The technology in the domain of agriculture needs to be enhanced and hence more people will be required who would have the knowledge, skills and competencies in the converged domain of agriculture technology.
Under this sector organization is undergoing the following activities like free of cost training of Mushroom cultivation, Bamboo Farming, Nursery raising, floriculture, advance technique of farming, motivation to farmers for selling and purchasing agriculture products, vegetables, milk, wheat. Production, plantation of herbs. To motivate and promote women farmers to involve activities like food processing, plantation and training.
